Benefits Available to Regular Full-time Employees
DPAC Technologies offers a comprehensive employee benefits package designed to help employees balance professional and personal responsibilities. We offer flexible plan options that allow each employee to select benefits and benefit levels that meet their individual needs.
- Medical Benefits
We offer both Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan options with Aetna, which provides you with access to quality medical networks based on your personal preferences. Prescription drug plans included.
- Dental Benefits
We offer both Dental Preferred Option (DPO) and Dental Maintenance Option (DMO) plans for dental coverage with Delta Dental and Delta Care/PMI.
- Vision
Vision benefits are available through Medical Eye Services who offers coverage for exams, eyeglass lenses and frames as well as contacts.
- Life and AD&D Insurance
DPAC provides Life and AD&D through UNUM Life Insurance equal to one times the employee's annual base salary.
- Supplemental Life Insurance
DPAC offers a Supplemental Life option to employees, the employee's spouse and their children through Hartford Life.
- Flexible Spending Account
Health Care and Dependent Care Reimbursement accounts are available which allow employees to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to cover eligible health and dependent care expenses.
- Short Term Disability
DPAC subscribes to the California State Disability Insurance (SDI) plan.
- Long Term Disability
Long Term Disability coverage is available to DPAC's professional and management staff who meet eligibility requirements. A member of the Human Resources Department will notify you once the eligibility requirements have been met.
- Retirement Savings Plan, 401K
Employees are eligible to participate in the DPAC Technologies Corp Savings and Retirement Plan at the first open enrollment (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1,) following 30 days of employment. Contributions are invested with American Funds. We offer a company match of 50% up to 6% of employee's contribution. Company match not to exceed $3,000 annually and is fully vested over a three-year period.
- Profit Sharing Plan
The company has established a profit sharing program to reward employees for their contributions to financial performance, which exceeds acceptable standards. Profit sharing is paid twice annually.
- Annual Performance Review
DPAC provides an annual performance evaluation aimed at ensuring that the company's goals are in line with the employee's so that we may continue to reach our business objectives.
- Educational Assistance
Educational assistance is available for pre-approved position or degree related coursework.
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
Employees accrue paid time off (PTO) from date of hire. PTO may be used for vacations, sick time, care of a sick child, parent or spouse. Exempt employees accrue sixteen days annually. After five years from date of hire, an employee will accrue twenty-one PTO days per year. Non-exempt employees accrue fourteen days annually. After five years from date of hire, an employee will accrue nineteen PTO days per year.
- Holidays
The company observes seven paid holidays per year.
- Jury/Witness Duty
Employees will be compensated for up to three days for jury duty served.
- Bereavement Leave
Employees are eligible for up to three consecutive days to handle necessary family matters and attend funerals for immediate family.
- Point Club
Employees are rewarded with points for attaining goals and milestones in order to recognize accomplishments. The reward points may be redeemed on a quarterly basis for the prize of their choice from DPAC's reward catalog.
Benefits Available to All Employees
- Credit Union
All employees are eligible to join the American Electronics Association Credit Union, a full service financial institution. AEACU offers on-line banking as well as several shared branch locations and ATMs to keep you in touch with your money.
- Employee Assistance Program
DPAC offers an EAP through UNUM that is available to all employees to provide confidential support, information or referral services for a wide range of everyday problems and concerns.
- Direct Deposit
Employees have the option to elect automatic payroll deposit of their bi-weekly payroll check.
